Emmanuel Ministries in Juarez, Mexico

"From the depths of despair, Hope reigns."

We are excited that you are interested in learning more about Emmanuel Ministries in Juárez, Mexico. We believe each person has a unique call and purpose given by God. Emmanuel Ministries began 40 years ago as a small orphanage that housed 10 children needing a home. Today we have been blessed by the Lord and now have facilities for up to 100 children. Emmanuel Children's Home is home to 100 underprivileged children. They live here year around. They attend local schools for academic education. Daily life skills are taught through participation in being a member of the family. Each child is assigned daily tasks that teach responsibility for taking care of themselves as well as their brothers and sisters at the Home. Along with the Children's Home, Emmanuel Ministries has their own medical and dental clinic, ballet academy, and Isaac Newton Academy, the school for the children's home's younger students.

Emmanuel Ministries is an organization that, by the power of God's love, impacts and transforms communities by serving children and families in need as we build on our history of integrity, compassion, the power of redemption and unity of the Body of Christ to expand the Kingdom of God.

Victory Trade School

"Keeping your job...earning your keep."

Victory Trade School is a subsidiary of the Springfield Victory Mission. The mission of the Victory Trade School is to provide opportunities to learn in a Christian environment, to gain skills necessary to make a living in the hospitality industry, and life skills to enter society as productive citizens. A need was recognized which resulted in Victory Trade School. The need was two-fold:

  1. Low income people were finding themselves in a cycle of poverty with no career and without the skills to move beyond minimum wage.
  2. Employers were without trained, experienced, dependable workers.

The result is Victory Trade School which opened its doors to offer an option to change the circumstances for both the employees and employers. We are dedicated to the foundation of character as well as the mind, and challenge the students to realize their full potential. We strive to foster a commitment to values such as integrity, responsibility, courage and creativity as we help the students attain a sense of dignity, self-worth and appreciation of others with diverse backgrounds. We endeavor to acquaint students with the teachings and values of the Christian faith, and an appreciation for teamwork while providing education in the hospitality industry.
