This event marks the culmination of our Patriotic Summer fundraising campaign, where guests across our locations participated in supporting families of military heroes. We are honored to welcome Lt. Colonel Dan Rooney, F-16 fighter pilot and founder of Folds of Honor, who will accept the donation and speak about the life-changing impact of the organization’s mission.

Folds of Honor is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of U.S. military service members and first responders who have fallen or been disabled while serving our country and communities. Scholarship support includes:

K–12 private school tuition or tutoring

College, technical, or trade school tuition

Graduate and professional degree assistance

Secondary degree or certification funding
Since 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 62,000 scholarships totaling over $290 million across all 50 states. Of the students served, 45% are minorities, and 91% of all donations directly fund scholarships. The organization holds a four-star rating from Charity Navigator and is Platinum-rated on Candid.
Folds of Honor was founded by Lt. Colonel Dan Rooney, the only F-16 fighter pilot to serve three combat tours in Iraq while also being a PGA Professional. He currently serves at the Air Force Recruiting Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.
